Creative Lettering Workshop - August 28

Creative lettering is all about using techniques to enhance your own writing.
In this class, we'll break down several letter styles, showing you how to embellish, modify, and add line work to transform them. You'll also learn the basic concept of pressure application to mimic the “look” essential to faux calligraphy.
By the end of the workshop you will have the ability to create several fun lettering styles and the confidence to continue lettering!
This is a hands-on guided workshop open to all levels. No previous experience or artistic skill is necessary. All materials will be provided.
Workshop includes:
- Creative lettering workbook
- Archival ink Artists Writing instrument
- Detailed instruction guide, practice sheets, and sample exercises
- Guided instruction
- Light refreshments
- 10% off in-store purchases the day of the event
Please note: This is not a traditional dip pen or brush calligraphy class.
Time: 6:30pm-8:30pm
Guests: All class participants must be age 18 and up, unless otherwise noted. No exceptions, please.
Please Note: We require a minimum number of students to hold any class and reserve the right to cancel a class due to insufficient attendance, inclement weather, or emergency. If this occurs, a full refund will be issued.
